The trailers of Shankar’s magnum opus with super star Rajnikanth – ‘Robo’ will be released today at Taj Banjara, Hyderabad. The film unit comprising of director Shankar and super star Rajnikanth are expected in town. However the trailers of ‘Endhiran’, the Tamil original version were launched without the two bigwigs.
Thota Kanna Rao of West Godavari District, bought the Telugu rights at a whopping price of around Rs. 27 crore. The Tamil original is said to have been made at an exorbitant price of Rs. 150 crore, by Kalanidhi Maran, on Sun Pictures banner.
Rahman’s music has already been received well by the masses and most people in India and abroad are looking forward to this film. With computer graphics made by technicians who worked for films like ‘Avatar’, Rajnikanth’s film will be released in three languages – Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. It will be released as ‘Robot’ in Hindi. The expected date of release, as of now is – September 24th.
